Hey Ticketmaster! We need to have a conversation. You are billing this tour as sold out. But apparently I have another(!?) chance to get tickets? Does this mean I am guaranteed two tickets? And for what shows? And why can you identify my boost now, but you couldn’t for any of the sales? Is this because of the article that have data-driven evidence that having a boost actually hurt our ability to get tickets? Or is it because of the class action lawsuit? Don’t get me wrong. I’m grateful. But what the heck is going on? The tour is sold out, only fans got tickets. But apparently I have an opportunity for tickets. And don’t get me started on the number of businesses with ticket giveaways despite the fact that all tickets went to fans. Cause this looks like Ticketmaster covering their butts.

I think it’s so funny how we bred JOBS into dogs. I have two shih tzus and they were bred to be lap dogs. All they care about is looking cute and cuddling with people. Meanwhile my grandma has a border collie and that dog needs to feel so useful all the time, he acts like he will pass away if he doesn’t have a job to do constantly
On one hand this is extremely fucking funny, but on the other hand, it really boggles my mind how many people punish their dogs for just… doing the thing they were bred to do.
Your husky isn’t “hyperactive”, it’s bred to pull sleds for 8 hours straight and you have it in a 400 sq ft yard.
Your English sheepdog isn’t “pushy”, it’s bred to herd sheep, and you have neither to space nor the herd to allow it.
Your terrier isn’t “nippy”, it’s bred to kill rats and your hamster looks a hell of a lot like one.
Your Catahoula isn’t “mean to animals”, it’s bred to hunt any and all animals smaller than it, and you didn’t acclimate it to your cat.
Your Lhasa Apso isn’t “yappy”, it’s bred to bark at any tiny noise and alert watchmen to intruders
Like Jesus Christ, if you can’t provide an environment where your dog can’t fulfill its literal life purpose, maybe?? Don’t get that dog??? And if you do, maybe know the breed characteristics so you can redirect those traits into more constructive outlets????
Both your most common doodle’s parts (labra and golden) want to hunt and retrieve water birds so the best suggestion I can give y'all is congratulations on your new duck hunting hobby.

I’ve been trying to figure out why my dream last night (it was very long and short at the same time and also very weird) has stuck with me so much today and why I am so nostalgic for a freaking dream that I had less than 24 hours ago. And I think I figured it out. Lots happened in the dream, but one of the consistent things was that one of the fictional people in my dream (that apparently I was in a romantic relationship with) was actually physically affectionate, open with me about his feelings and a good listener. In short, he really demonstrated that he cared about me and our relationship.
It’s interesting to think about how little we touch each other, even casually as we get older. And if you don’t have a romantic partner, it can be very easy to become touch starved. There’s a really cute children’s song that I grew up listening to called “4 Hugs a Day.” One of the lyrics is “4 hugs a day, that’s the minimum. 4 hugs a day, not the maximum.” I thought it was fun and cute when I was little, but I definitely think there is some truth to that. We need physically affectionate contact with other people on a regular basis, even if it isn’t romantic or sexual. Humans need physical touch, and when you go without that, it can really hurt.
The irony of someone posting about how to be a better friend when they have been dodging you, ignoring you, and regularly ditching you. 🤦♀️
